About Me

Dreaming is the only way I know how to get through life. To friends and family, I’m known as the person who is known to dream big and speak her mind at any given moment, which in retrospect is the best thing about me. I am very connected to Social Media: with my main usage being of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and Snapchat. Since high school I have garnered into several social like events. To add more to that, mostly at the time, I was being a member of the elite all female school choir, the Lawrence High School Girls’ Ensemble. With that I have went around my community and sang at the desired events. At times when it is needed I have also volunteered within them. These days I’ve just been swimming through life at the chances that are presented to me or that I’m comfortable with taking.

I was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts at the Lawrence General Hospital. About 3 and then 6 months in to my existence, I was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus. I had water in my head (a boil), on my skull. It made my head grow larger than my body so I was taken to the Boston Children’s Hospital. There I was given my surgical treatment of a shunt being placed into my head in order for the growing to slow down and grow at the same rate as my body did. There were some side effects. My need for special needs services. My left eye shifting to a different direction. More recently, discovering having extreme shyness. The risk of longer than one minute seizures. Finally, the need to have my head half shave almost every year in order to place a new shunt. At least that’s what it looked like at the time. Since that day, I never returned back to get a new shunt since I’ve only had a few seizures but they’ve lasted under a minute. I’ve only gone back to have high technical checkups. When it comes down to it all, It’s always been a personal miracle.

What happens when I’m not focusing on my career?

Usually I’m attempting origami as a way to pause from the insanity of the world. I binge watch popular TV shows while along the lines giving feedback about them. I spend time with my family when I can. They consist of my 1 brother, 3 sisters, my 3 nieces, my mom and my dad. I mostly spend time online talking to my online friends.
